More Swet Portraits

Two nights ago the owl nets, and the Saw-whet and Long-eared audio lures were up and running by 7:45pm. Running until 6:10pm we caught 54 Saw-Whets and one Woodcock! It was a perfectly steady night with four to six birds caught each net run, keeping it busy, but not hectic. Last night was a bit slower, with only 16 birds, but still fun, as the novelty of the Saw-whet has not worn off, and doubtfully ever will.
