Yesterday Amanda and I did get down to Keith's gallery to check out the Costa's hummingbird that had been hanging around for a day or so. Lucky for us Keith and the hummingbird were there, so we got a little hummingbird ID tutorial from him, and some great looks at the bird.

Hummingbirds abound
Today was the first EVER broad-billed hummingbird captured at Palo, very exciting. They're still unsure of the record status for the county, but possibly the first? I wasn't here though...
