Bryce Canyon day two

Today we went for a hike on the "Fairyland Loop Trail." We ran into very few people and got some great views of the multi-colored landscape and huge rock spires.

The Narrows (at Zion)

This hike took us up the Virgin River through a canyon on the north end of Zion. The water levels varied from ankle to neck deep. We hike in about 3 miles, took a long swim and headed back. We were very happy to have gone early in the day, as we barely saw anyone on our way out, but ran into swarms of people on the way back.
